Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Summary: Organizes and coordinates administrative activities for Hospital Administration Shift: Days M - F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Hours: Full-time/80 hours every 2 weeks
Job Requirements Include:

Dietary

Job Title: Food Service Worker
Preforms the duties of the Kitchen and Cafeteria during operating hours.

    Hours: Full Time/72 Hours Paid every 2 weeks
    Shift: Varies
      Job Requirements Include:Will help in serving, preparing, and packaging meals for in patient care and those in the cafeteria. Will use computers to ring up meals and orders.
      • Responsible for helping where needed and trained to cover positions for vacations and days off
      • High School Education

Emergency Room

Job Title: RN
Shift: PRN

Job Requirements Include:

  • Works in the Emergency Department/Trauma Care environment
  • Documents concerns, findings, and actions, implementing appropriate plan of care related to patient's diagnosis for continuity of care

EMS/EMT

Job Title: Paramedic
Administers emergency medical care to sick and/or injured patients and transports those patients to an appropriate medical facility.

    Shift: 24 Hour Shifts - B-shift
    Hours: Full-Time 80 Hours every 2 weeks
Job Requirements Include:
  • Administers appropriate emergency medical treatment to patients while on scene and/or during transport
  • Creates accurate patient care report (PCR) for each patient
  • Learns and maintains excellent geographical knowledge of McPherson EMS response territory
  • Current certification as an Paramedic issued by the Kansas Board of EMS is required.
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification issued by AHA is required.
  • Current ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, AMLS, PEPP, NRP, and CEVO certification is preferred.
  • Minimum: 1-2 years paramedic experience perferred.

Facilities

Job Title: Director of Facilities
Job Summary: Directs the development and implementation of effective programs to manage the occupancy and use, repair and renovation of the Hospital's buildings and grounds, utilities service, and other facility support services. Ensures a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff.

    Shift: Days 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
    Hours: Full-Time/80 Hours every 2 weeks
      Job Requirements Include:
      • Directs, reviews and supports Plant Operations, Environmental Services and Laundry employees. Ensures complaince with all relevant federal and State laws and regulations, and Hospital policies. Analyzes the department's needs and establishes both long and short term objectives to address those needs. Ensures that the objectives are consistent with organization goals and that the proper processes and plans are in place to accomplish the objectives.
      • Recruits and motivates a first rate team whose knowledge base, commitment and work ethic will accommodate the Hospital's growth. Develops individual and group competence through in-service education and on-the-job training opportunities. Works with individuals to identify personal goals and establish a framework to encourage growth. Promotes a hospital perspective and establishes expectations for individual contribution and accountability for meeting Hospital operational and financial goals.       • Prepares the operating and capital budgets for Plant Operations, Environmental Services and Laundry Departments. Directly manages the departmental budgets by monitoring expenses, identifying variances and adjusting spending accordingly.
      • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Basic computer skills. Basic mathematical skills related to budget preparation. Leadership skills. Customer service skills. Organizational skills. Management skills. Presentation and writing skills. Knowledge of building automation systems used to control/monitor HVAC, fire prevention and security hardware. Extensive knowledge of federal and State regulatory codes covering building, fire prevention, environmental and employee safety for health care facilities.
      • Associate's Degree in or equivalent formal training program related to facilities preferred.
      • Three to five years experience required. Five to seven years preferred.

Finance/Accounting

Job Title: Financial Analyst/CDM Coordinator
Job Summary: Contributes to the fulfillment of the Hospital’s mission and vision by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant financial information for review by all levels of management. Monitors actual financial results against budgets and develops short-term and long-term financial projections. Coordinates the maintenance of the Hospital charge master to ensure its accuracy and compliance with all regulatory standards. Evaluates regulatory changes and payer policies and makes recommendations on modifications to the charging process.

    Shift: Days 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
    Hours: Full-Time/80 hours every 2 weeks
Job Requirements Include:
  • Gathers and analyzes relevant financial information as assigned, including the development of proformas and specialized reimbursement estimates. Prepares reports for review by all levels of management.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements using generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Coordinates the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets for all Hospital services.
  • Monitors actual performance against budgets and reports variances according to Hospital practice.
  • Coordinates the preparation of work papers for the annual independent audit, IRS Form 990, the Medicare Cost Report, and various reimbursement projects.
  • Maintains the hospital charge master to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory standards. Evaluates regulatory changes and payer policies and makes recommendations on modifications to the charging and billing process.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field required. Previous experience in healthcare accounting/finance strongly preferred. Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
  • HFMA certification as a CHFP (Certified Healthcare Financial Professional) is desirable.

Housekeeping

Job Title: Housekeeper
Job Summary: The Housekeeper performs, coordinates, and/or assists with routine cleaning, sanitation and other housekeeping tasks throughout the Hospital. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring adequate hand soaps and hand sanitizers and sanitary paper products are adequately stocked for patient care, visitors, and staff. The Housekeeper also assists with the handling and processing of waste and bio-waste materials by collecting, transporting, and storing as specified. Overall, the Housekeeper assists with departmental goals to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

    Hours: Full-time/80 hours every 2 weeks
      Job Requirements:

        • Greets and assists patients entering the waiting room and laboratory in a manner that is helpful, friendly, courteous and kind so patient satisfaction is achieved.
        • Conduct drug screen collections as well as results to correct locations to assist local companies to comply with federal and state regulations.
        • Establishes proficiency in collecting clinical specimens by veins puncture, finger and heel sticks without complication to ensure proper results are reported.
        • Coordinates with the laboratory phone calls on all laboratory extensions so that communication is not delayed.
