Job Title: Emergency Department Director
Job Summary:
This position will promote the mission, vision and values of the organization. Primary responsibilities include providing administrative oversight and direction for the Emergency Department and Trauma Services at McPherson Hospital. This position is accountable for planning, directing, leading and evaluating nursing care within the ER as well as acting as a liaison with all pre-hospital medical services.

  • Acts as a role model and mentor for staff; maintains competencies to function as a staff nurse
  • Supervises the day to day operations of the department to ensure safe, high quality, effective nursing care is delivered and patient satisfaction and loyality is achieved
  • Serves a member of Nursing Leadership in establishing policies and processes in order to optimize efficiency, effectiveness and quality within the department and across the hospital
  • Monitors patient volumes, quality of care, and performance of staff to identity areas for improvement
  • Facilitates Trauma Committee meetings, ED staff meetings and participates on other hospital committees and task forces
  • Improve employee performance through ongoing counseling, coaching, delegation, and education of employees to encourage staff performance and clinical expertise
  • May work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude

Professional Requirements:

Job Title: Financial Analyst/CDM Coordinator
Job Summary: Contributes to the fulfillment of the Hospital’s mission and vision by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant financial information for review by all levels of management. Monitors actual financial results against budgets and develops short-term and long-term financial projections. Coordinates the maintenance of the Hospital charge master to ensure its accuracy and compliance with all regulatory standards. Evaluates regulatory changes and payer policies and makes recommendations on modifications to the charging process.
Shift: Days 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Requirements Include:

  • Gathers and analyzes relevant financial information as assigned, including the development of proformas and specialized reimbursement estimates. Prepares reports for review by all levels of management.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements using generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Coordinates the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets for all Hospital services.
  • Monitors actual performance against budgets and reports variances according to Hospital practice.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for the revenue cycle processes for the physician office practices for McPherson Hospital, Inc. that consists of clinic with 15 providers and an Urgent Care facility. This is inclusive of the revenue capture, coding, billing and oversight of the external billing company's collection activities.
Shift: Days 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Summary: The Clinic Quality Analyst will serve as the primary EHR support for McPherson Hospital clinic staff. The Analyst will work as a key member of the support team to build, maintain, test, and train as needed to assure successful implementation of any new processes and provide ongoing support. The Clinic Quality Analyst will be responsible for all quality reporting for McPherson Hospital clinic providers.
