Visiting Hours
We welcome you daily from 8 AM – 9 PM. Please be mindful of Quiet Hours in the Women’s Care and Birth Center from 10 PM – 10 AM and 2 PM – 4 PM. It’s a good idea to check with family before visiting during these times. Visiting hours are 8am-9pm daily. Visiting the Women’s Care and Birth Center during ‘Quiet Hours’ from 10p-10a and 2p-4p is discouraged. Please inquire with your family members before visiting.
Visitor Guidelines
- You might be asked to step out during treatments to ensure the best care for our patients.
- To ensure a peaceful environment, we limit visits to two people at a time.
- For safety, children under 6 can’t enter patient rooms per the Kansas Department of Health. Kids under 12 can visit with prior approval.
- We appreciate your respect and kindness. Any threatening behavior will lead to being asked to leave.
- If you’re bringing food for a patient, please check with the nurse first.
Respiratory Viral Illness Visitor Guidelines
(Influenza/COVID/RSV)
Here at McPherson Center for Health, we recognize that support from family and friends is an important part of a patient’s recovery. The following guidelines have been created to help facilitate that need for our patients.
Before Visiting
Please be aware that when planning to visit a patient who tested positive, or is being treated for a respiratory viral illness, visitors are exposing themselves to illness and may become infected.
Respiratory Viral Illness Guidelines
- If you’re feeling unwell or have symptoms like fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please stay home.
- Enter through the Emergency Department Entrance and pick up a Level 3 mask at Registration.
- Stay in the patient’s room and avoid common areas. Keep your mask on while inside and leave promptly after your visit.
Please note that these guidelines are subject to change and are based on the discretion of hospital staff.
If visitors have any further questions, please contact hospital staff or Infection Control at 620-241–2250 ext. 5204
